Why Wait Time Strategy is necessary?
1. Asking question
with a rapid fire speed
Slow or average students will take time to understand. So, wait time
strategy is important.
2.
Asking question to a particular student
Other student will stop thinking about the concerned problem. They think
that problem is not related with him. So, you have to ask the problem in
general not with a particular student.
3. Involvement of
all students
Generally, slow students have not participate in class activities.
4. Mentally
Strong
When you give wait time or think time to the student.
1. Intelligent students have more than one answer.
2. Slow and average have at least one answer.
5. Confidence
Level Improve
Slow or average student have not participate in any class activity. So, they
have lack in their confidence level. It will improve in their confidence level.
When they think about any problem, they can reply it after wait time strategy.
6. Less failure
percentage in class
If more students participate in class activities, we get the less number
of failure students.
